Shannon Ligon, Esq.
 
Shannon Ligon joins WTG serving also as managing member of her own firm Ligon Law Group, LLC. She earned her Juris Doctor Degree from Florida A&M University College of Law where she served as President of the Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Society and on Moot Court teams.
 
Ms. Ligon earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Florida State University while spending time abroad studying International Business at the Universidad de Valencia in Valencia, Spain.
 
Ms. Ligon has experience in the areas of Entertainment, Media & Business Law, where she has successfully worked within the entertainment and sports industry for the past eight years. Ms. Ligon worked as a law clerk at the prestigious firm of Gary, Williams and Finney et al. specializing in Civil Litigation. While there she gained the opportunity to work on several Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law matters satisfying both her love for entertainment and the law. "I'm a caring and creative person by nature, my nurturing side allows me to zealously represent my clients in all personal matters while my love for entertainment allows me to understand the dynamics of business within the Entertainment & Sports industries."
 
Ms. Ligon believed that in starting her own practice, she could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues.
Ms. Ligon founded Ligon Law Group, LLC to better serve her clients by offering services that transend beyond your typical legal services.
 
Since then, Ms. Ligon has represented numerous clients . Ligon Law Group has allowed Ms. Ligon to fully realize her passion for helping people at all levels of litigation and protection.
 
Ms. Ligon is a member of the Florida Bar and active in a number of professional organizations including the American Bar Association:
Entertainment & Sports Lawyers Division, the National Bar Association and the Black Entertainment & Sports Lawyers Association. She serves as founder of her own non-profit, Legacy Entertainment & Arts Foundation, Inc. (L.E.A.F. Inc.) which advances entertainment and the arts by creating scholarships for underprivileged youth. She is also a proud supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, fitness, and songwriting.
